The story of Mr. Shantanu Narayan | CEO of Adobe who took 20$B to 241$B

                   Here's the story of an INDIAN Origin CEO 

who built Adobe from 20billion$ to 214billion$ and introduced the idea and system of  "Subscription Economy" in the early 2000s and proved the words of every middle-class family that it isn't necessary to come from riches, to build a Rich Legacy.

A great example of this is Mr. Shantanu Narayen, 

                                           

                                                                                A Humble leader who took Adobe to unseen heights over the past decade. Owing to his robust leadership skills, make many things in less time period, and overcome many failures though it did not stop Him.

He served DELL being the board member and is currently on the board of Pfizer

Initially, He was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, INDIA after that he completed Electronics  Engineering at Osmania University, A Masters Degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University, and a Masters degree in Business administration from the University of California at Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

 

He did not choose Campus placements and Chased a goal of his own. He started out his startup, "Measurex Automation system" 

 

however, He left the startup after 3years to Join Apple. He then went onto join silicon graphics as Director of Product. Due to the Bad Economy, He again Started off his Own Venture " pictra inc" to sustain in the long run. 

This venture too shut after 1 year, but He didn't give up and went on the pitch to Adobe.

Destiny had him there when CEO Bruce chizen identified a unique leadership skill in Shantanu and appointed him as the vice president of Adobe in 1998. He becomes president and COO in 2005 and in Just two years of Excellence, He becomes CEO in 2007

  

Even after apple rejected Adobe Product, Shantanu had strong confidence in it and kept leading from the forefront. His feats caught the eye of Obama who then made Shantanu Narayen a member of his Management Advisory Board 2011. 

Under the leadership of CEO Shantanu Narayen, The company saw a 14% YoY increase in Revenues and Adobe's Stock price soared more than a whopping 600% and its market capitalization rocketed to 241billion$ as of 2020, From just 20billion$ in 2007

though Mr. Shantanu Narayen had failure did not stop him, for every failure he bought up new thoughts make it creat a success. Never give up on what he wants

In May 2011, Narayen received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, Bowling Green State University.

Narayen is the lead independent director on the board of directors for Pfizer and vice-chairman of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum. He previously served on U.S. President Barack Obama's Management Advisory Board.

In 2018, Narayen was ranked #12 on Fortune’s “Businessperson of the Year” list, and “Global Indian of the Year” in 2018 by the Economic Times of India

In 2019 he was a recipient of India's Padma Shri award
